After several years' absence, a strong typhoon will hit
The Korean Peninsula according to the weather forest
Broadcasting stations are busy in predicting its course

Though direct influence of the typhoon hasn't reached yet
Strong gusts whirl in the valley surrounded with mountains
Dispelling the long summer away which has shown its tail

The wind which was waking the sleeping forest all night
Is wielding its power with driving dark black clouds in
Stretching my body which turned and tossed uneasily
Because of the noises of the summer escaping loudly
Forest, Wind, Rain, Autumn, Cloud, Mountain, Lake,
Dragon Fly, Cicada, Wild Flowers...
These words come to my mind in the early morning


태풍
문복산에서 보내는 편지 24

강력한 태풍이 몇 년 만에 한반도를
직격 할 것이라는 기상예보이다 방송국들은
매시간 태풍의 예상 진로를 예측하느라 바쁜듯하다.

아직은 태풍의 직접적인 영향이 미치지 않는 시간인데
산들에 둘러싸인 계곡에서는 광풍이 휘몰아쳐
꼬리를 보이기 시작한 긴 여름을 훠이훠이 몰아 내고있다.

밤새도록 잠든 숲을 깨우던 바람이
시커먼 구름까지 몰고 와서 위세를 부리고
쫓기는 여름 소리에 뒤척였던 몸이 기지개를 켜면
숲. 바람. 비. 가을. 구름. 산. 호수. 매미. 잠자리. 들꽃...
이런 단어들이 나의 마음에 떠오르는 이른 아침 시간
