English Letter
Mr. Lee,
This weekend is very busy for me as well...I saw that you'd call this evening--sorry I missed you.
I would not mind waiting to repay you until you need another teacher; I will be in Korea until November at least. But I have good intentions on repaying you.
Until we meet again, good day!
Regards,
Jennifer
Dear Jennifer,
How have you been?
I can't believe my eyes.
When did you come back?
I am really glad to hear from you.
I am also really sorry to hear about the shameful affairs.
In my opinion, they are not fair.
It is a sad story that there are too many bad people around us.
You owe me 300,000 won but you can pay me back later through another recruiting for me because I will need more teachers for me or for my friends. But if you insist, you can pay me in person. I would like to see you not for money but I am missing you so much.
I am free on Friday evening.
Jennifer,
Once again I am very glad to hear from you.
I hope that you will always be happy and well.
With lots of Care
Dae Hee, Lee
Hello Mr. Lee,
I need to let you know that in addition to teaching jobs I have applied to in America, I am applying to one company in Japan by the name of Westgate. They have a program where I could teach English at the University level for 3 months at a time and this would be a good possibility for me.
I hope not too many people have contacted you for a reference for me, as I know you are very busy!
I also gave Mr. Kim's name as a reference to Westgate in Japan, and gave the Elite school's phone number and email for contact. I hope he doesn't mind helping also.
I still need to get a letter of recommendation from Mr. Kim. Is it possible that you could forward this email to him, or let him know I request this from him? Thank you very much for all your help. (I do not have Mr. Kim's email).
Other than the job applications and interviews I have no news, family here is okay and I'm enjoying some time with them.
When I do resolve my next step, I will let you know my plans. I do have to fly to S. Korea at least for a few extra days to visit and close my bank account. If I have any extra time while in S. Korea I will tell you, in case you need some help while I am there. The job in Japan doesn't begin til late April. Also, I know I may owe you a little money for the phone bill.
Hope all is going well for you!
Sincerely,
Eda Vlahos
Hello Mr.Lee -
Thank you for your reply, I left the Suevilla apt. as planned on Dec. 1st.
I am back in America now.
My bank account is open in Korea, so if there is any refund from my utilities, you can refund it there. But, I had a couple more long distance calls I made before leaving, which I had to make to change my air ticket, I believe I made them 11/29. If I owe you more money due to the calls please let me know and I will pay you.
I was able to change my Korean bank card to a visa check card which works internationally, and therefore did not have to take all my korean won with me now. I am having the pension office in Korea send my refund to my Korean bank account there. This was all a suitable resolution for now!
Best of luck with your new teachers and many new students!
Sincerely, Eda Vlahos
Dear Eda,
It is no problem for you to stay one more week here.
But your apt will be occupied by another teacher this week.
As long as you don't use the apt, there is no problem at all.
Sincerely Yours,
Lee
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mr. Lee,
I asked Mr. Gong if it's OK for me to stay one more week in Korea and visit friends and he said it's OK.
(I will leave the Sue Villa apt. and go to Busan tomorrow and fly out of Korea Tuesday 12/9, I changed my flight).
The reason I mention it to you is, I want to be certain that I am still here legally, and that my work visa is not canceled right away.
Is it true that it's OK for me to remain in Korea another week?
Thank you,
Eda
Dear Eda,
I am very glad to hear from you.
I had hoped to see you while you stayed in Ulsan.
Let's make to see each other if you come to Korea again next time.
I am very regretful that your brother is not well.
Hoping everything will turn out best for you.
Please, don't hesitate to ask for my help if you need any.
I am willing to help you find a new job in Korea.
Sincerely Yours,
Lee
Dear Mr. Lee
I would just like to say thank you very much for the beautiful gift. It is really lovely, and I appreciate it with all my heart.
I would also like to wish you and your family a wonderful New Year, and I wish for you all happiness, health and prosperity.
Best regards,
Jax
Dear Mr Lee
Thank you very much for your prompt response. I have definitely had a wonderful stay here and I am very thankful that I can perhaps come back to Elite in the future. It is a wonderful school and the students are very smart and well mannered and their english is of a very high standard.
I have got an electronic ticket for my trip back home. Will that be sufficient for immigration? I will give it to Mr Gong.
Thank you very much once again and I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
Kind regards
Candice
Dear Candice,
I wish that you have enjoyed staying with us.
You don't need to have kept the ticket from Taiwan to Korea.
You just need to have the ticket from Korea to your country.
Any more question is welcome.
Have a nice day~
Sincerely Yours,
Lee
Dear Mr. Lee,
I submitted my passport and visa information to the Korean embassy today. I have been assured it will be ready for me next Thursday morning.
It is possible for me to fly out of Ottawa next Thursday night?
I thank you for your time & look forward to hearing from you.
Sean
Dear Sean,
You can begin your work on Nov. 20.
You can come any time.
Looking forward to seeing you~
Sincerely Yours,
Lee
Dear Mr. Lee,
Wow Mr. Lee that was fast! I will go to the Korean embassy tomorrow with my Passport and get that done. I am ready to depart next Thursday (Nov. 16) or Friday, up to you. I ask only that I have the weekend to relax and unwind from the jetlag.
I thank you in advance & look forward to working with you.
Yours truly,
Sean
Dear Sean,
Congratulation! Your visa was finally issued.

Your bed size is double, queen size.
Please, don't hesitate to ask any questions.

Lee
Hello Mr. Lee, hope this finds you well.
I was wondering what size of bed is in the apartment. I am going to bring over some bed sheets and such.
Thank you in advance,
Sean
Dear Sean,
Don't worry.
Everyone makes that kind of mistakes every day.
Have a nice day~
Lee
Mr Lee,
my apologies but I just sent a message to you that was intended for my girlfriend Suzana....
I'm so sorry, I just bought a new laptop and it has a mail program I am unaccustomed to.
My sincerest apologies!
Sean
Dear Sean,
Thank you!
Now I have everything to apply for your visa.
I will let you know your visa certificate number as soon as I get it.
You can visit the Korean Consulate with the number.
Looking forward to working with you.
Lee
Hello Mr. Lee,
As per Suzan's instructions, here is a scan/copy of my passport photopage. I hope this is what you were needing. Please advise asap should you require any further documents and please, when do I bring my passport to the Korean Embassy here? Luckily, I am in Ottawa and the main embassy is located here near my father's office.
Thank you in advance Sir and many thanks for making this transition so smooth.
Yours truly,
Sean
Dear Lee, Dae Hee,
I have now interviewed Emily and am very keen to offer her a position. My one concern is that you commented on her poor ability to work under stress and her patience.
Is it possible to elaborate and give me some examples?
I appreciate your feedback.
Thank you.
Dear David Roberts,
I am very glad to give you Emily's reference after she finishes her 2 years' successful mission.
Any more question is welcome.
Sincerely Yours,
Lee, Dae-hee
Additional Comments: on the whole, she is a good employee.
Dear Lee Dae Hee,
I have been given your name as a referee for Emily Thompson. I would appreciate it if you could spend a few minutes completing the attached form and returning it to me by e-mail.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Regards,
David Roberts
Dear Mr Lee,
Thank you for your kind words. I will try and get my visa before I arrive in Korea. So if it is possible to delay my start date that will be great as I dont really want to start my first year with you by losing money and holiday entitlement.
I will keep you informed of my progress.
Yours sincerely
Guy
Dear Guy,
I am very glad to hear from you.
It sounds that you have had a wonderful time.
I am sorry to hear that you will come to Korea without E-2 Visa.
As you know it means that you have to leave Korea again and come to Korea again. It is a kind of waste of mony and time.
In my opinion, the second best way is to go to Japan and get E-2 visa and come to Korea. It takes 2 days.
We can delay your starting date.
But if you don't mind the inconveniences and money losing, you can come to Korea first and visit Japan for 2 days using your annual leave.
Anyway, I am looking forward to working with you and I expect and firmly believe that you will be very valuable asset for Elite English Academy.
Take care.
Sincerely Yours,
Lee
Dear Mr Lee,
I have just telephoned the Korean Embassy in London and they don't open until ten (10am) Monday morning. This means I will have no chance to get to the embassy after dropping off my hire car at Heathrow airport then going across London to the Korean Embassy and back to Heathrow after completing the visa forms in one (1) hour to be able to check in for my flight at eleven (11am). It is also impossible to change my flight at this late date as I fly on the monday, I would have to completely re-schedule the flight and pay again. So I will arrive as planned in Korea and we will have to sort the visa from there, I hope this will not inconvenience you in any way.
Yours sincerely
Guy Pettit BA Hons IM
Dear Guy,
I got your visa certificate number.
Please let me know you got this e-mail.
Hoping to see you at Elite next week.
The following is the number.

Dear Lee
I am writing in regards to a Stacey Cracknell who has applied to us for temporary employment therefore your input on this individual would be extremly helpful. If you could please complete the attached reference form I would be extremely grateful.
Thank you for your time, assistance & prompt reply.

Dear Mr Lee,
Thanks very much for the reference. I am happy with
the scores you gave me and agree with them.
The school is in Istanbul. I hoped to go to Italy but
as I can't travel until November it is difficult to
find a job. However, I would like to teach in Istanbul
also. It is a very nice place.
I have had emails from Emily and some students,
everyone seems very well. I have met Hazel also and
she is very happy and talks about Korea and Elite a
lot.
I hope you had a nice Chuseok holiday and everything
is going well at Elite.
I'll let you know how my job hunting goes. Thanks
again.
Regards,
Evan.

> Principal of Elite English Academy, Ulsan City,

Hello Mr. Dae Hee Lee,
Greetings from Canada! I was advised by James to contact you regarding a possible position at Little Campus School in Ulsan. James has told me as much as he can about Little Campus and it sounds to me as though it is a sucessful and reputable school. I am writing today to learn more about Little Campus and also about your need for a teacher in November or December.
Becoming a foreign teacher in Korea is something that is very appealing to me. Travelling to Korea and having the opportunity to teach there would be an excellent way of expanding on my life and teaching skills. If you've had a moment to look at my resume, you will have found that I have ample teaching experience and education. As an English assistant in France, I was fortunate enough to learn what teaching and living abroad is like. I loved my position in France and look forward to experiencing new challenges in another part of the world. I am a young, active and vibrant person. I love meeting people of all ages from all parts of the world. I feel lucky to have found my niche in life as well...I know that I want to make teaching my career. I derive a great sense of satisfaction from imparting my knowledge to others.
I do have a few questions about this particular position at Little Campus. Would you kindly forward a copy of the contract to me at either this address or at my work address at rebecca.vank@royalbank.com ? I only have access to this Hotmail account during the weekends as I live with my grandparents during the week as it is much closer to my work. If you could also tell me a little more about the accomadations, I would appreciate it. Is it shared or single apartment? As I said earlier, I am very interested in learning more about you and your school and would be happy to answer any questions you may have about me. I am a very open flexible person and I look forward to meeting you over the computer and hopefully in person! I hope you have a great day.
Sincerely,
Rebecca Van Klink
Dear director:
I thank you for your this kind letter.
I will do as you advise me to do for English Champ
and I will do my utmost efforts in trying to find a female
teacher for your best friend, E won.
And I gather that it's about time for Rebecca to have the visa
confirmation letter. I advise you to contact her over the phone
to make everything sure.
And I learned about your secretary..
I feel that she is a really decent girl..
Whenever I call you, she is always kind to me.
I already knew that she was quite different from other secretary of other school. I gather that she is a good-mannered lady.
Anyhow I envy you 'cause you are surrounded by girls.
I am going back to Pusan to hunt teachers as soon as I finish
my class at MIT in Ulsan. I have classes from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
I will soon give you the good news ..
I also hope that you will have restful Sunday.
Sincerely,
Dear Mr Lee,
I hope you are well and you enjoyed your weekend.
I am writing to let you know that reserved our flights for the 2nd of March, 2002 as there was no flights left on the 28th of February or on the 1st of March. These details have been passed on to Michelle Kim via ESL opportunities. We have also been informed that our visa's have been sent to us via DHL, and therefore we should receive them in the next day or two.
Evan and I are looking forward to arriving in Korea and teaching English to the children and wish to say Thank you for this wonderful opportunity.
Looking forward to meeting you soon.
Best Regards,
Hazel Fleming

I wish to thank you very much for the opportunity you have given me in asking me to come and work at your school and I will do the best job I possibly can. I will email you in the next few days when I have recieved my visa papers from you and booked my air tickets to tell you when I will be arriving. I am very glad to have a chance to meet you through e-mail.
I am the director of Elite English Academy which you signed to work for.
Your friend Duane will work for another Academy in the same city.
I just got your visa certificate today and I will send it to you via DHL service.
You will be able to get it in 2 or 3 days from today.
You can enter Korea after you visit Korean Embassy or Consulate.
You can enter Korea with Duane.
The best arriving timing is March 30 or 31.
For your reference, I will let you know several data about me.
My name is Dae-Hee, Lee.
My cell phone is 011-877-3x4x.
My Academy phone is (052)-265-3848.
You will arrive in Incheon International Airport and you will take a domestic airplane to Ulsan City.

Good bye.
Sincerely Yours,
Dae-Hee, Lee
Hello, how are you? I am just writing to say that all my documents have been signed and sent off too you, they were sent last Thursday so I hope they arrive soon. I am very excited about coming to your school to teach English. When I was in Auckland on Thursday, getting some of my documents signed I met one of your old friends. Going by the name of Daniel Kim, he is the Managing Director of Korea Consulting Ltd. He spoke very highly of you and told me a little bit about Ulsan.

Dear Mr. Roberts,
I am very glad to hear that you nearly decided to work with me.
Your airplane ticket will be reimbursed within 48 hours after you arrive here like Mathew's case.
I am anticipating the necessary documents from you.
When I get the necessary documents, I will apply for your visa and I will send the visa certificate to you and then you will visit Korean Embassy to have your visa stampted and finally you can leave for Korea.
It all takes 2 or 3 weeks to do the procedures if everything goes smoothly.
Let's keep in touch with each other.
Good bye!
Sincerely Yours,
Lee
Hi that sounds excellent. I am on my way down to the embassy to get them to stamp my degree. Just wondering, do you pay my return airfare NZ to Korea?
I know you said you would pay for me to go to Japan and that sounds wonderful!
Thank you very much
regards
Stacey

Dear Stacey,
I just got your e-mail.
I sent you another mail but you didn't read it yet.
By the way can you come to Korea this week?
If you can come to Korea with the necessary papers,
we can apply for your visa and you can visit Japan and
come to Korea again.
Because Japan is quite near, it is not a big problem.
Of course, I will pay the travel fee.
Have a nice day!
Sincerely Yours,
Lee
Dear Mr Lee
Thank you very much for your very detailed comments on Hazel.
I appreciate the fact that you responded immediately and in such a helpful way to my request.
Your information confirms the good impression I had already formed of Hazel.
The only other thing I would like to ask about is her ability to use English in the classroom at a level which suited her students' English language ability. Some teachers find it difficult to speak simply enough to be easily understood. Could you comment on that for me please?
I'm sorry to be asking you for more help, but this is an important matter.
With warm appreciation
Juliet
Dear Juliet,
How do you do? I am the director of Elite English Academy for which Hazel is teaching English at present. She told me that you tried to send an e-mail but it was not successful. I am sorry for your inconvenience.
I would like to highly recommend Hazel Flemming as one of your staff. She has been working with me for 1 year. She has been very reliable during that time. She has never missed her class. She has very very good personallity : she is kind to her students and she is very cooperative with other staff. You will be very satisfied with her service.
After 10 months service, I eagerly asked her to work with me for another year. But she has another plan. So I am willing to recommend her with confidence and truthfulness.
If you have any more questions, I will answer sincerely and honestly.
I have to say good bye here today, hoping that everything will go smoothly.
Sincerely Yours,
Lee
Dear Lee,
I am very happy that we will be working together. I chose your school because it seems very stable and reliable. I think we will have a good year.
My address, as you requested, is:
John Whitehead
43xx Montgomery NM, Apt. 4xx
Albuquerque, NM, 87110
I do have a question regarding the flight to Incheon International Airport.
The recruiter told me, and I believe the contract states, that round trip airfare is provided. Is this correct? Please let me know how that would
work.
Thank you again.
Regards,
John
Dear John,
First of all, thank you very much for choosing our school.
I got your papers and applied for your visa certificate.
I will get your visa certificate on the 23rd of March.
As soon as I get it, I will send it to you.
Please write you address again for me.
You may reserve your airplane ticket around 3rd of April.
You will begin your work around 6th of April after you take rest for about 2 days to get over jet lag.
You will arrive in Incheon International Airport and move to Kimpo Domestic Airport and fly to Ulsan City.
As soon as you have your schedule, let me know the arrival time and flight number and we will make a reservation for your domestic flight.
The last domestic flight is 7:00 PM. That means you should arrive before 4:30 PM.
If your flight arrives later than this time, you should stay one night in
Seoul or you can take express bus to Ulsan City. It runs until quite late hours. It takes about 4 hours.
If you let me know your schedule, we will pick you up.
My cell phone is 011-877-3x4x
Let's keep in touch with each other.
Good bye.
Sincerely Yours,
Lee
Hi Mr Lee, Happy new year...firstly i'd like to thank you for allowing mathew and myself to come back for a further 6 months contract. although i will be signing a 6 month contract Mr Lee it is quite likely that i will stay on longer but we can cross that bridge when we come to it.
The main purpose for this e mail is to check whether i still need to apply for my E2 visa...i still have my Alien Card and it states that my visa doesnt expire until October 2006. will i therefore still need to send copies of transcripts etc? if i do need to thats ok, but i thought if there was no need than that would make life all the more easier.
well Mr Lee i hope that Winter Intensive is going well and im looking forward to coming back to korea after a long period of backpacking in India.
Thanks again
Daniel
Dear Lee
Thank you for your kind response.
Yes I appreciate that my timing may not be perfect. Friends have suggested that I do not complete my contract here! But I LOVE TLC - the academy has been so fantastic to me, I have never had a problem and love the staff. The second branch you mention sounds just fine. Is it smaller? I wonder How do foreigners not get LOST in your school!! It sounds HUGE.
If you could forward my details on to your friend that would be appreciated.
Do you mean it is in the middle of Ulsan City? That would be fun.
I have been looking at the area of "OkDong" (excuse the spelling) -
where some new friends live. I was particularly interested in this area because there is an olympic sized swimming pool and I like to swim every day.
Anywhere where there is MORE to do than in GimHae would be GREAT!

Hello Mr. Lee,
This is Claus from Paradise English the English Language school on Boracay Ilsand in the Philippines. We met the other day at your office.
I just wanted to thank you for meeting with me. I really appreciate your interest in our program. If we can ever help you or if you need more information please do not hesitate to contact us.
Your sincerely,
Claus Bauer
Dear Lee,
I'm sorry for taking so long in responding to your email. I have been on holidays and work has been very busy since coming back.
Yes! you are right. You've got a very good memory. A lot of things have happend since leaving Korea. Things have been going well for me. I was offered a part time job at American Express while studying at university and I got promoted so I quit studying to consentrate on my career. My parents didn't like this at all! I think deep down I knew I didn't want to study accounting. For the past two years, my brother and I started up a business. We import and wholesale computer components. It is a hard market, but we are doing well.
David and I broke up a year after Korea. I am with someone else now for the past 3 years. We are happy. No babies for me...yet :)
You know what? I still think about how yummy the dockbukie and bulgogi was in Korea. They do not make it like that in Australia!!
So tell me how things have been going with you and what are your children doing now?
Margaret
Dear Margaret,
I am very glad to hear from you.
Sure I remember you.
Your boy friend was David. Right?
I am very sorry that you left abruptly against your will.
But we had no other choice.
When you left for the airport in the morning, I gave you the taxi fare.
And I told you that if you want to come back after graduation, you are welcome.
Every memory is very clear like yesterday though a long time passed.
Yes, we have been very successful since we moved in this area.
How have you been?
I would like to know every news about you.
Looking forward to hear from you soon.
Sincerely Yours,
Lee
Dear Mr Dae-Hee Lee,
Thank you for your speedy reply to my enquiries about teaching at Elite English Academy. Please could you let me know the exact date that you would require a teacher so that I can decide whether or not to make a formal application to teach at your school? Also, what documents must I include in a formal application?
Happy new year to you too.
Sincerely,
Priscilla Gan
Dear Richard and Mr. Lee,
I don't know how this happened, but I seem to have ended up recruiting for Elite Academy in Taipei. I have yet ANOTHER friend who would like to come and work for you in December/January. She is also a friend of Ryan, and is a very nice woman. I have actually had the opportunity to watch her teach and I can tell you that she is very good. She's from South Africa, but I think her grandmother was English.
If you don't have a position, that's OK. If you do know of another school who might want a well-trained teacher and will treat her well, please let me know.
Emily
Hi Mr Lee,
Next Monday would be great. Thank you so much, I really appreciate it.
Kind regards
Daniel
Dear Daniel,
Nice to hear from you again.
I can do what you asked for next Monday.
Actually you were a wonderful teacher and all my students enjoyed studying with you.
I hope that you will be able to get the job.
Sincerely Yours,
Lee
Hi Mr Lee,
I have a very big favour to ask you. I have applied for, and been short listed for a teaching position at a very good high school in New Zealand. In order for me to teach again in New Zealand I need you to fill in a form that I have attached. I need to do it urgently because if I get the job I must start teaching a week after my return to New Zealand.
It is an easy form to fill out but it is very important. I then need you to fax it to New Zealand for me. I hope this is not too bigger problem. If the cost is a problem I can get one of my friends in Ulsan to bring some money to Elite.
About the form:
The form is a testimonial from an 'endorser'(you). It is to say that I have been a satisfactory teacher while I was employed by you, and that you think I would be a good teacher in New Zealand again.
I have had to attach the entire form but you only need to print, complete, and then fax page number 3 'Section H: Testimonial'. on page 11 of the form is a guide that helps you fill out the testimonial, it can be a little confusing.
I have also attached to this e mail a letter to the techers council for you to print and fax with the 'Testimonial'. on this letter I have told them why I have asked you to fax the form. If you fax these 2 pages together(the 'testimonial' and the letter) hopefully I will have no problems.
I know this is a lot to ask but it is very important for me to teach again in New Zealand. I have tried to make this e mail a simple as I can, but as I am reading it I know it may be confusing. If you have any questions please let me know.
Thank you Mr Lee. I really appreciate it.
Kind regards
Daniel

Mr. Lee,
How are you?
I'm hoping to post all my documents to you during the next week. Could you possibly once again remind me of the address that I am to post them and exactly what i need to send!
I hope you're well.
Ryan
Dear Ryan,
Thank you very much for letting me know your schedule.
Your timing is perfect.
There will be no problem to get your visas as long as I get all the necessary papers
before December 1.
I am also looking forward to meeting you.
Sincerely Yours,
Lee
Mr Lee,
How are you? I hope you're well.
Both Mairead and I have booked our flights to South Korea. We're arrving on 30th December in Seoul, and shall be having New Years Eve there with friends before to flying to Ulsan on 1st January. The reason for us doing this was that it has worked out significantly cheaper for us to fly to Seoul and book our own internal flights, rather than book them all through an international travel agent in England. I'm also waiting on my degree transcripts from my university, as is Mairead, however we sould have them in the next 2 weeks, and then we'll be able to send everything to you in Ulsan.
Is that ok?
Thank you once again. Both Mairead and I are looking forward to working with you in Korea!
Ryan
Good afternoon Mr Lee,
I am sorry to disturb you again but I would really appreciate if you could answer and confirm a few more questions I have.
So basically, you are offering me either:
1 600 000 for 4 hours a day ( 3:00-7:00 or 4:00-8:00) or
1 900 000 for 5 hours a day ( I presume 3:00-8:00 or 4:00-9:00)
Also, I would like you to confirm that this amount would not be taxed
considering my visa situation.
I was wondering if you could tell me if the foreign teachers only
teach "Conversation English" or teach Grammar as well?
Thank you so much for your time and patience. I will let you know
either or not I accept your offer as soon as you answer my
questions.
Have a nice day,
Jade
Dear Ms Trottier,
Thank you very much for your interest.
I think your offer is reasonable.
I hope that you can come down to 1,600,000 won for 4 hours a day.
You can earn more if you are willing to work more hours.
Say, 300,000 won more for one more hour teaching a day.
I would like to work with you.
You are so kind and active.
Sincerely Yours,
Lee
Dear Mr Lee,
Thank you for getting back to me.
The working hours you proposed to me were fine. As mentioned, I would enjoy working part-time from 4:00 to 8:00 or 3:00 to 7:00.
As you are not providing me with accommodation and that the hourly part-time wage is usually higher, I might reconsider your offer if you can raise the salarly to 1,700,000 Won.
Thank you for reconsidering the offer.
Regards,
Jade Trottier
Dear Ms Jade Trottier
If your intention is to earn more money, we can give more hours or raise the payment.
It was just my offer.
It means that we can negotiate your working conditions.
I hope that you may reconsider.
Sicerely Yours,
Lee
Mr Lee
I don't think I will have enough annual leave left to cover this as our friends are visiting in July and our parents in October. I have found a flight on 20th December for £500, this would mean I would be working four days short of my contract. I have also found a flight leaving on 23rd which would mean I'd be working three days short of my contract. Could i just take a pay cut from my final wage? Otherwise what would you suggest I can do? How about if I worked on some of the public holidays? Is this no use to you either? Would you be free for me to come and discuss this.
Kind Regards
Mairead
Dear Mairead,
I am glad to hear that you are enjoying working with us.
You can make a flight reservation any time after Dec. 20.
In fact, we don't need your help at the weekends.
You can use your annual leave without pay cut.
Otherwise, we can reach a reasonable agreement on the matter of your shortening your full contract year.
Have a nice day~
Sincerely Yours,
Lee
Dear Mr Lee
I apologise for contacting you over an email but I thought it would be easier this way as you are usually busy. I am really enjoying my time in Korea and enjoying working at Elitle. I can't believe I have been here almost six months. I have currently been lookig at return flights home to England for December. I know this may seem a little early but I want to book my flight ASAP. I have been listening the English news online and oil prices are at an all time high, this means that flight prices are going to also go up by a considerable amount. I want to book this week or next week before the prices go up.
My visa expires on 28th December, I was wondering if it would be possible for me to leave on Saturday 20th or even Tuesday 23rd December. If I leave any later than this then flight prices are almost double and I also want to be home in time to spend Christmas with my family. I understand that this will mean I am working four or five days less then my full contract so I would be willing to work any weekends to make up for this or take a pay cut from my final pay cheque, would I still be entitled to my bonus?
I can come and discuss this matter further with you if you wish. I look forward to hearing from you soon
Regards
Mairead
